Gadget Show Live 2010

All I can say is 3D 3D 3D!!!!!! Every courner you turned was a 3d experiance of some kind or some kind of flying gadgets.But it was still a great show it was huge with people trying to sell the gadget show magazine .
The gaming zone was extreamly serious, its not what I call casual gaming,there was competions going on with queues everywhere and with any console possible . I think its not for a family but a person who is addicted to it . The main compainies were very interactive including putting a camcorder in water !!!!
The super theater show was excelent with loads of text and who can phone in first and with flying peguins but i thought the build it challenge wasnt very good . Overall I will give it a 9/10 no i will give it 10/

VLC media player

VLC is a brilliant all round media player which play files from MPEG -4 to WMA and much more, basicly it can play most files . It is really easy to use and can be downloaded free from the VLC website http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html or just type it in to google. The window can be adjusted to yourlike with a simple fullscreen mode . Most things are accsesable through a crowded right click menu . Also you can stream movies from you tube and the internet which can alsocome in handy if you want to save the movie on to your computer !!!! I will give this an 8/10

Google chrome

Google chrome is a new web browser which is fast, big screen ( no added toolbars ) and easy to use bookmark service . You can change the theme and set the hompages and also has an easy to use address box where it gives you popular sites as you type it in AND you can search google with it. Also when you dont whant a homepage it will come up with a site which shows you your most visited sites from first to least with an also handy histroy bar togo to your last closed websites . The problem with this browser is that it is so good so it is bad basicly the browser has its handy tools but there isnt much going on its just a browser no fancy features just a fast browser, I think that this is one of the only browsers avaliable today that just browses the internet so really i am judging a browser not a browser xl so just for the browser i am going for 10/10 but the browser xl i am judging it 5/10 because it is basic .

Spotify

Spotify is a free music service. You can stream music to your computer if your connected to the Internet.Every few songs there is a few short adverts but this does not disappoint.

There is an option if you pay £9.99 a month then you get to play the music offline play them on your phone and no adverts !!!

If your going to use Spotify then your going to have to get invited . I'm told there is a huge waiting list to get Spotify and your going to have a decent broadband connection to get full experience.

I love the layout of the software it is easy to use and you can search music in a handy search box. Spotify supplies most songs and you can make a playlist. you can share this with your friends who have spotify.

Downloading songs and albums is a popular thing like on I tunes but spotify has a little icon to download and album or a song from its partner 7digital it does not open a link to a web page but opens a box where it asks for payment options and then you just download it easy!

Also if you want to have a queue for your music so you don't have to keep on going to your computer every minute to choose a song of your choice then drag the music into the play queue option or you could just click shuffle.Download here this may get you through the waiting list http://www.spotify.com/en/download/windows/
